Presentation of award
Canon, world leader in imaging solutions, won the 2012 Inspiring Learning Award after showing how it had engaged its employees in learning activities across the company. Canon was presented with their award and a cheque for £100 at a special prize giving ceremony on 29th November.

David Collins, Head of Nation/Region Marketing at The Open University, said, "We were really impressed by how Canon UK used Learning at Work day to motivate and inspire their staff to learn something new. This approach reflects The Open University’s belief that people can achieve extraordinary things when they connect with something which inspires them. Learning at Work has enabled Canon to develop a more energised and motivated workforce and, like many others, their organisation is benefiting from the positive effects that learning in the workplace can bring.”
