At age 47 - Am I too old to start a new career when I get my degree in about one and a half years time?

My degree will be in Technology: Design & Innovation and I am going to need some career advice to help me decide what jobs to apply for.

No way are you too old. With people being expected to work longer in the future career-changing in your 40s will become increasingly common. Might be worth to start looking at the OU careers advice page http://www.open.ac.uk/careers/
