Just thought I'd pop in and say hello and introduce myself. I'm Nici from London and will be starting my law degree in Feb 2012 thanks to my generous (or misguided) employers :o)
I have never used OU before but have just weatched my mom complete one Masters and start a second at 65 with OU so figured I should be able to handle it (or be put to shame no doubt).
Quick question - how do you find the groups you've joined? In other words, once you join does it list them somewhere so you can access easy or do you have to scroll through all the groups each time to find the one you want to post to? Any help appreciated.

Welcome to Platform! To view the groups you have joined, go to the Platform homepage and scroll down. You will see a box on the right called 'My groups' which is your quick guide to the groups you have joined.

I was in the OU about ten years ago and there was a very active Gay Soc, with interesting gay issue discussions - like "Was the film, 'Interviews with a Vampire" a gay film? Both funny and interesting. Does that sort of thing happen here or is it just about gay students chatting about their studies?
