Hi!
Would anyone, like me, love to see room on here for sharing photos between group members? This would be a great addition and for one who is a bit reluctant to join Yahoo's Flickr it would create a nice ambient space for likeminded OU students and graduates to share their creations. Any chance of this happening in the future? i-spot is fantastic so rolling this idea out for non-nature related photos would be a good idea. A bit like the T189 photo sharing space but without having to study T189. Well, that's all from me for now, I look forward to dipping into this forum to read all your views and ideas! Welcome aboard everybody!

Hope you get a lot of takers Louise. Sounds an interesting idea and we'd be specially interested to see any with an OU connection, eg graduation ceremonies. Personally, I also love looking at landscapes and wildlife imagery so fingers crossed you find some like-minded folk.

Hi Jane and thanks! Yes I agree with what you see. I also love wildlife pics but need a better camera to do those successfully! Hope to hear from you on the forum again soon!

Great idea Louise and maybe something we could work up for Platform as we continue to develop the site. I'll have to have a sneaky word with the powers that be ad see if it can be added to their ever increasing 'to do' list. In the meantime, you can post images here on Platform by embedding them in the text box. There's a little yellow insert/edit button on the toolbar which allows you to upload images. Not what you're asking, I know, but it's a way of sharing images within this group and asking people to comment on them or post theirs. Think I most post one if I can find something suitable :0)

Hi Robyn!
Thank you for that. It would be great wouldn't it if the team could sort out part of the site for uploads. I will think about embedding an image now you mention it, yes that will do for now and it's something we should be encouraged to do-any quality of photo as long as we enjoy it as to me, photography is about having fun and enjoying the experience, not just about creating the perfect creation.
Hope to hear from you again!
Louise
Yes I totally agree about photography being fun rather than producing the perfect creation.
Yes!
I totally agree and will be posting some of my pics in the not too distant future.
