Hi everyone
I'm Alex, 26, in full time work, chronically lazy and starting this module this Oct!!! My first time studing for years. Am very nervous but excited and have lots of fears and questions, some of which feel stupid. I am sure there are lots of people out there feeling the same so am wondering if anyone would be interested in an informal study group somehwere down the line or even a group email chain or facebook page where we can post questions or ideas? The forums and things on here are quite confusing to me and too huge.
How is everone feeling about their study materials? I'm pretty daunted,seems a lot of reading! Already so many worries but also so excited to get started. Are people getting started with the materials already or waiting? Are they going to teach us about the Harvard method of referencing as I am clueless??
What are everones long term plans with there studies? Has anyone thought about their next module?
Lots of questions, any answers are very welcome.

Hi Alex, I'm Kayleigh, I'm 22 and also from the london area. Im unemployed and currently moving from sofa to sofa as I just can't seem to find a job and pay my way unfortunately, which is why I'm doing this course, in the hopes of gaining a career. I'm also starting DD101 on the 6th. Yes I feel the same as you, daunted by the study materials, yet excited to get started. I would definately be interested in an informal study group as the larger groups I am finding hard to keep up with. I haven't got the first idea about Psychology or what they are going to teach us, but I think we are all going to be in the same situation.

Hi Alex and Kayleigh,
My name is Samantha and I am 28, living in Reading and have started this course as well. I haven't done any studying since GCSE's so I am pretty nervous about this assinment due at the end of the month. I am actually starting it today and am hoping to have a first draft done by the end of the week. Have you guys started it yet?
I found the tips on reading & note taking quite helpful and have already watched the DVD throughout and have made notes on them.
Anyways, I would join a study group or something similar if you are making one, so feel free to add me.
