Hi. I am Anna and I am terrified! What have I taken on?! I am looking for people to cling to and form a study group! I have 3 daughters and part time work so I am only taking on DD131 and DSE141 this school year. Please let me know if anyone is interested in teaming up and helping each other!?

I'm doing the Psychology degree but decided to start with just DD131 starting in October as I work full time then do DSE141 maybe start it in Febuary 2013. Just want to see how I get on with DD131 but its good to see other people on here doing the same course. I am really looking forward to starting :-))

Hi I am Adam. I am 30 and work full time as Buyer for a power tool wholesaler. It's fairly well paid but I just want something more and have decided to have a go at this degree because I want to work with people instead of for people. ( hope this makes sense )

I used to work for large company in Poland (good position,well paid),but like you have said... this was for people! Now i have got opportunity to change it ,and I will do my best to keep up with my next goal.

Glad to see there are so many fellow newbies, all doing the same course. I am doing DD131 from October, with DSE141 starting in February 2013, fitting it in around being a parent and being a self employed trainer in Social Care!

Hi, I am starting in October, am from Zurich, Switzerland, mother of 2 young children and soon to be divorced. I have signed up for Bsc in Criminology and Psychological Sciences. I am only planning to do 30 point this year as I am not yet sure how I will handle work, kids, household and all. Would like to find study partners and am ready to offer my motivational skills:-)

Hey Anna, Course materials for DSE141 and DD131 are due to be despatched via yodel on the 14th September. I am still keeping fingers crossed that they might come earlier though lol. Im too excited. My husband is studying Physics with the OU starting Oct too and his first box came last week. I am very jealous!!!

I'm Hayley and I've signed up for the BSc Psychology degree starting with DSE141 and DD131 in October too :-) I will be fitting this around my full time job so I guess I'm going to have to be very organised!

Phew! I thought it was only me that was petrified! I am starting DD131 in October too and wondering how I am going to juggle my job (dyslexia tutoring and screening) with two teenagers, husband, house and dogs! I live near Norwich so if anyone is local and wants to meet up please let me know. I would love some "study mates" as I am not sure I can do this alone!

I just received my books!!!! How exciting! I then looked through them and had a wobble! How on earth am I going to do this??? It is daunting BUT we have all come this far so we can do it!
