Hi all, I'm starting Y183 as of today!!! Im petrified! I have my first chat with my tutor at 1.30pm....I don't have any idea what to expect. Like Sheila , Im not an expert on the old IT side , and like April I can't believe I've accessed a 'forum' and am having a live chat!!! My 21/18 & 10 year olds will think its hilarious! I'm very apprehensive about everything from the discipline of time management to actually understanding and navigating the computer!!! let's all encorage and help each other??? I'm based in Surrey. Its 2013 now and im reading all your posts with interest, and some anxiety. I'm due to begin the "Starting with Psychology" (Y183) very soon Can any of you give me some help/pointers?? as i havent studied since i left school.
Great to hear you've decided to start studying. My top tip is to follow the weekly guide (telling you what to read and when) and keep up to date with it and I'm always nice to get in touch with others in your tutor group as they are in the same boat. Enjoy your studies!
