I currently run my work life to 110% capacity. I have taken careful consideration in planning my study timetable to ensure I allow for 16 hours study, of which I have every intension of sticking to. Question is as life takes over, will I?
How do you plan to stick to your study plan (if you have one) and do you have any tips for the best way to study and stick to it?
xxXxx

Hi Jenna,
I have a similar problem.
I do shift work, including nights, a lovely wee dog who needs attention now and then, and we have the builders coming in next week.
And a holiday at the end of the month.
I can only live in hope :)
I work part time and volunteer for 2 organisations (along with having a dog and horse) but I plan to study really hard. I get in quite a good routine (usually) but keep motivated by looking over all the other modules I have done, makes me think of my end goal and that by Oct 2014 *hopefully* I will have my degree so every little extra studying will help x
Hi Jenna,
I was just about to ask a similar question! Thankfully my commitments are fairly minor, but I do work full time (shifts) and volunteer. I've been looking at ways to jazz up my studying a little bit - listening to podcasts in the gym for instance, or taking my laptop out to the park or a coffee shop to minimise the temptations of telly and the interwebs.
I think recognising when you're at your best study-wise is probably important too - I'm 100% useless in the morning, and get a burst of energy at about 11pm. Not exactly conducive to a healthy sleep pattern but I've learned to live with it.
Good luck with it all,
Chrissie
