Hiya
I have just registered today for y183. Then in may 2012 I will be doing dse141. I originally applied for dse141 for this November but there is a long waiting list, so I applied for next year instead. I thought while I'm waiting I will ease myself into the course by doing y183 and to get into the swing of assignments again. Is there anyone else who has applied to the y183 that starts november

Don't worry, you'll soon get into swing of things. I haven't studied this course myself but I'm sure someone who has will be around soon to give you some words of comfort.

I signed up for this starting Nov today as well : ) I was going to start with DD101 but I hadn't done any studying since GCSE so thought I would ease myself in gently, I've registered to do the the DD101 in Jan there is a bit of overlap but I'm told that this is fine ??

Bit worried about the mark assessments .. eek ..

I want to do the BSC Pychology ... anyone else doing the same ?

yeah im starting the y183 in November. Really nervous but very excited. Not been in educvation for 10 years. so it will be difficult but im sure we'll both get the hang of it.

does anyone know when you bookmark a feed/topic where does it go to. Every time i sign into platform I have to scroll through each topipc until I find the one i want. Is there a special place they go to please help

Hiya

When you bookmark something it will appear on the Platform homepage, under the Bookmarks header. You'll have to scroll a fair way down the page to see it and it's on the right hand side. And under Groups on the homepage, you'll also have quick access to all the groups you're a member of. Hope that helps!

Hello,

Another November starter here. Just received the letter to confirm payment so I assume that means I'm in.

Been nearly 13years since my GCSE's so some serious 'dusting off the cobwebs' needed here.

Hopefully this will be a gentle first step to a BSC(hons) Psychology. Are you taking the sample route @Emma Lovett or have you mapped out your own path to the degree?

Wow twinges of excitement and futters of nerves all at the same time, bring on the first step.
