I graduated from the OU well over a decade ago so have lost track of what the OU charges now, but as I work at a US public university (worked here for 9 years now), I know our costs! I also know most of the costs of grad school too as my step son is is going to med school here and his fiancee is in a Masters program here.
So....
I was wondering what the OU charges now, so I can get a feel for how things back there have changed?

Hi
If you visit the OU's online prospectus http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/index.htm you'll find the costs for each course listed with course descriptions.
Hope this is helpful.

Maxine, thank you for the link!
I have found that even though an OU course seems expensive, it really isn't. First of all, an OU course is longer than the usual course in the US. Generally, most of your text books are included within the course costs as well, with the exception of some set books and other resources. Last year I priced a Master's degree with various US universities versus the OU and the OU came out cheaper against each US university -- sometimes it was by $5,000, but one was by $10,000. I also found the OU undergraduate courses much more challenging than the few US graduate courses I took.
