Hi everyone i'm Tanya,29, single mum of four. I satrted my OU journey with an openings in Understanding children and young people. I have just completed E111, supporting learning in primary school and have changed my degree course to English language and literature with the hope to become a secondary school teacher . I have registered to start with AA100 and have bee looking to get a head start before i start in October. My question is do i need to buy the set books seperately or will everything arrive togther in the mailings? i'm from Dagenham/Romford area, are there any other OUstudents who are thinking or have completed the AA100, near me? Hope everyone is well and studying hard.

Tanya

hi tanya,I'mm starting this module in September as part of my History degree (very nervous, haven't studied for a while!) and I've had to buy all the set books myself. I've found them all really cheap on ebay. Hope this helps! Also I'm in maldon, not really close but not that far away :-)Hannah

Hi I'm starting the History BA in Oct too, and will be doing this course. I believe we buy the course books separately. So far I have found these links useful
