I have a study plan that has altered a little as new courses have been introduced and others dropped but i do have an ultimate goal and know the best way for me to achieve it x

Same here, I do have an idea which courses I want to study, but since some courses may be stopped and others introduced, I haven't set it in stone. The main reason is probably that I can't really afford to study random interesting courses as well as a full degree (sadly! :-) so if I want to get a qualification I have to stick more or less to the schedule...

Depends why you're doing the study. If like me you're doing it essentially for fun/personal development/keeping the brain active, then you can do what you like and at the end of it you can get a BA or BSc (open). If however you have a specific goal to become an English teacher or whatever, and/or your course is being paid for by someone else, you may be tied to the courses you can do and also a timescale.

Having said that, even though I'm doing it for fun, I have written down which courses I'll do over the next 6 years - but it is subject to change!

I started with a plan and now I'm just "doing it" because I enjoy it.

I have 240 credit points, so I started off intending to do some business courses on the way to a BSc Hons Open degree. After a year I decided to change to a named degree for the benefit (I hope) of my career; within that I have a bit of flexibility in terms of course choice, although I'm not studying anything I wouldn't want to anyway. After that I intend to do two more Level 3 courses (probably social science or international politics, I don't want to think that far ahead yet) for the Open degree as well.

I have a study plan which as has been said above, has had to change because courses have been dropped or added or even, what I find most frustrating the course I'd most like to do doesn't start when I need it to. So I find myself at about 70% through a course reading the courses I CAN do when I'm done with this one to find one that fits in the plan and looks interesting to me.

I am on my second course, failed the first one but am so far doing ok with the second. Knowing what I do now, I wish i'd done them the other way round.

I have a study plan which has already changed once and will do again soon. I was going to do mainly music so I can go on to teach but have recently been considering going into social work with children so would need totally different degree.

I've emailed my local council about doing 'work experience' so I can make an informed decision before I apply for my next course, so we'll have to wait and see. It is bugging be a bit as I like to have a plan (bit OCD with organising my things and my life!)

I've got a plan! I've got everything worked out for my degree (hopefully completing in 2012). Although I know things change I like to know what I'm doing! By seeing the courses I'd like to do and their starting dates ect. I've worked out, what I think is the best way to do them. :)

I completed a Diploma in Computing(D12) but after that I didn't know what to go for.

Was aiming for an Open Degree(300 points, no Honours), but then realised that most employers take that for a "failed degree". Which I think is unfair!

Now I'm just plodding away at a Certificate in Computing & IT, and just figuring out what to do next. Most likely more certificates or E66, which is the new Computing & IT diploma...
