CARM Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry

There are a lot of valuable resources available, including 3 online schools. I have only looked at the free samples of these schools. From what I have seen of them, they do promote a sound and disciplined approach to study.

Precept UK

Resources and training for inductive bible study. I strongly recommend ‘Lord, Teach Me To Study The Bible In 28 days’ and it’s bigger brother, ‘The New How To Study Your Bible’. The principals in those books lay out how inductive bible study works. In its simplest definition, Inductive bible study is using Gods Word to interpret Gods Word.

E-Sword

Freeware bible for your computer. I use this program a lot and find it saves me a great deal of time and as I only use the free texts avoids copyright issues completely. The program comes with King James Version linked to Strong’s numbers giving instant access to the Greek and Hebrew words used. There are a lot of other translations and resources you can freely download and some texts and resources like NIV text etc have copyrights and therefore fees payable.

Cheers Geoff. I've used CARM a little before so will have to explore the others too. Thanks for sharing these.
