Winners of the OU Research Excellence Awards 2019

The OU Research Excellence Awards recognise outstanding research and celebrate achievement within the OU research environment.

The 2019 awards were presented at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at the MK Dons Stadium on Wednesday 23 October during #OUResearch at 50, the month that the OU has dedicated to celebrating its research excellence.

50th Anniversary Prize

Winner: Professor Ian Wright, Emeritus, Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Individual runner-up: Dr Karen Olsson-Francis, Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Team runner-up: Knowledge Media Institute (KMi)
