A new OU/University College London (UCL) research project into people's attitudes towards money has revealed that impulse buying is more common among women than men.
Professor Mark Fenton-O'Creevy at the OU and Professor Adrian Furnham at UCL aimed to find out more about people’s emotions and attitudes towards money, and whether this had an impact on their financial management, or whether financial knowledge and education are the primary keys to successful money management.
