I am an Open University postgraduate researcher student studying for a PhD in: Planet Compositions from Disintegrating Exoplanets.
I previously studied at Royal Holloway University of London, where I graduated with Honours in Msci Astrophysics. My work there looked at spectral broadening in stars, specifically I looked at the stars Betelgeuse and Pollux and compared how the two were either pressure broadened or thermally broadened (through the doppler effect).
My main research interests are in Astrophysics and Astronomy. I am specifically engaged with the field of exoplanets and the more recent research that is being done on disintegrating exoplanets. Such work is feeding directly into my research area as I find and collate exoplanetary data for this PhD.
Other interests I have are in formation of star systems and simulations on formation, collisions and observations.
