Professional biography

Roger is a full time staff tutor based in Scotland having taken up the role in 2005. Previously he worked as an Associate Lecturer for the OU teaching a variety of modules within the social work programme alongside a freelance training profile. His professional background is in social work where he gained 20 years experience.

As a staff tutor Roger works predominantly within the professional social work programme where he manages manages a number of the Associate Lecturering staff as well as building and maintaining contacts with a wide range of external agencies. Roger also carries a number of central academic roles having been a co-chair of K/YJ/ZW113 since 2007 and chair of K207 since 2009.
