Rhiannon recently joined the OU as a Staff Tutor in Psychology and Counselling, and will be overseeing a range of undergraduate modules in the South West Region. Rhiannon will also be part of the DE100 module team. Previously, Rhiannon worked as a Lecturer at the University of Buckingham, where she taught components of the MSc in Health Psychology and oversaw the Placement element of the programme.
Rhiannon’s main interests are in Health Psychology and has a PhD in Psychology awarded from the University of Bath. Her research interests are in understanding more about the factors that influence how we report pain, including pain in older adults who live with (and without) a degenerative disease.
