Research Degrees

Research Opportunities

Prepare for the ultimate challenge: an OU research degree. This is your chance to make your mark with a research degree in a subject that fuels your interest and inspires your imagination. And, if you decide to study full-time, you’ll be living and studying in a city that’s one of the fastest-developing areas in the UK (you will find more information about the OU and Milton Keynes here).
OU research degrees are administered by the Research Degrees Team in the Research School. The research degrees programme offers both full-time and part-time study, giving you an opportunity to change your life and explore your study capabilities.

By working closely with both staff and students, the Research School is able to help develop and enhance the quality of OU research degrees, so that the overall experience fulfils your needs and matches your expectations.
