OU Business Award goes to 'intelligent driving' company
The Open University was proud to sponsor the Business Innovation category in the latest Milton Keynes & North Bucks Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. The winning company, demonstrating the most innovative use of technology to deliver a high quality service, was Trafficmaster plc. It also scooped the overall Business Excellence Award 2008.Trafficmaster specialises in intelligent driving services – based on a telematics technology platform it developed in-house - to reduce costs, improve efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
Judges’ comments:
Truly innovative products for a well identified and targeted market.
There were over 100 entries across the Business Excellence Awards’ 16 categories. The awards were presented at a dinner, hosted by the MK Dons football team in Milton Keynes.
