Research Strategy, Information and Governance
This sub-unit of the Research School has primary responsibility for the following areas of activity
- Development, implementation and monitoring of the institutional Research Strategy
- Research governance
- Research policy, including:
- Coordination of institutional responses to research and enterprise related external consultations exercises
- Management of the allocation and evaluation of institutional strategic research investment.
The Research Strategy, Information and Governance sub-unit also incorporates the Research Information and Communications Team, with primary responsibility for:
- Management and reporting of research-related management information
- Development and dissemination of institutional research publications and other communications
- Coordination of institutional submissions to national research assessment exercises (e.g. RAE 2008, REF 2014)
- Research-related statutory returns.
