On the eve of major changes to the governance and funding of BBC World Service, we invite you to debate the challenges it faces at this critical moment in its history. We will also report on our current research into the changing cultural value of BBC World Service.

  • How will BBC World Service adapt to current and future challenges – including commercial, technological, and geostrategic pressures?
  • How can BBC World Service engage the next generation of audiences intellectually and creatively?
  • How should the value of BBC World Service be understood and explained?
