Jacqui Gabb has been invited to participate in a prestigious international symposium Beyond the East West Divide: Gender, Intimacy and Modernity at the University of Hong Kong, 24-25 May 2012.

    Relate

Relate has circulated information about the Enduring Love? questionnaire through several channels. This support was another boost to the questionnaire responses. 3,734 men and women have now completed the questionnaire in the first 10 weeks! Thank you if you are one of them.

Mumsnet - By parents for parents

Mumsnet gave our study a mention on Twitter and Facebook three days ago and suddenly we had another boost to the questionnaire responses. 3226 men and women have now completed the questionnaire in the first 6 weeks.

This week Principal Investigators Jacqui Gabb and Janet Fink will present a paper to the American Association of Geographers in New York.

We had a phenomenal response to our survey! 2,269 respondents have now completed the questionnaire in the first 4 weeks. But we are not complacent and the more people who fill out the questionnaire, the more we will be able to say about the diversity of ways in which people are experiencing long-term relationships, as well as anything that people who stay together have in common.

The Enduring Love? project launch took place on Monday 16 January 2012 at The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Conference Rooms, The County Hall, London. Described as 'a triumph', the launch provoked some interesting thinking around how adults experience, understand and sustain long-term couple relationships.

We have had a fantastic response to the questionnaire! More than 548 respondents have completed the questionnaire on SurveyMonkey in just two weeks!

The empirical research has really begun! More than 300 respondents have completed the questionnaire on SurveyMonkey in the first week. This is a great start but we need more.

It's our big day on Monday, 16 January 2012, when we officially launch the Enduring Love? project and we're delighted to have been able to get three speakers from three different sectors.
