The first feedback is in

The empirical research has really begun! More than 300 respondents have completed the questionnaire on SurveyMonkey in the first week. This is a great start but we need more. Why don't you get your views heard and fill out the Enduring Love? questionnaire?

The project launch went very well. Phew. We had a full house and a great atmosphere. We genuinely managed to make this a multi-sector event. The participants and the speakers came from Government departments, the media, academia and the third sector. Some initial feedback proclaimed it 'a triumph!' An experienced social researcher commented on the 'positive energy and enthusiasm for the project. The scope is quite ambitious, but that also makes it exciting'.

Throughout the presentations, I was reminded of the importance of finding out more about the ways relationships are experienced and understood. How do relationships endure when love is complex and relationships undergo transitions and change?

This is my second blog; ever. Thanks in advance for your all your comments and suggestions that you can email me to Martina.Klett-Davies@open.ac.uk.
