CHEMISTRY PRIZES

Several prizes are awarded annually for the best overall performance in a course in the Molecular Science Award. Details of the 2008 winners are listed below.

RSC Mid-Anglia Section Prize
The RSC prize for the best overall performance in the project course SXM390 Frontiers in Chemistry goes to Stephen Gauci.

Haynes Prize
The Haynes prize for the best overall performance in S344 Organic Chemistry: A Synthesis Approach goes to Louise Wright and Benita Hiley.

Courtauld Prize
The Courtauld prize for the best overall performance in S342 Physical Chemistry: Principles of Chemical Change goes to Louise Wright and Benita Hiley.

Courtauld Prize
The Courtauld prize for the best overall performance in S205 The Molecular World goes to Catherine Brown, Benjamin Titmus and Peter Marwick.

Congratulations to all students for having done so well in your studies. We are particularly pleased to award the S344 and S342 prizes to Louise Wright and Benita Hiley as they both achieved 100% in the courses' examinations.
