Christmas meeting 2009
Thursday 17th and Friday 18th December
The 2009 Christmas Meeting will be hosted by the Department of Chemistry and Analytical Sciences
at The Open University. The modern Berrill Lecture Theatre on the OU campus will be used along
with nearby facilities at the Accenture, Training and Conference Centre, Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes.
The meeting will follow the successful formats of previous years with 4 plenary lecturers,
contributed talks and posters, and Christmas dinner. Lectures will start at 2:00 pm, following lunch,
on the Thursday afternoon and the meeting will close at lunchtime on the Friday.

ACCOMODATION AND OTHER INFORMATION
Accommodation for the Thursday night will be at the Accenture Training Centre
(www.accenturehotelandconferencing.com/) which is across the road from the main OU campus.
The rooms are all en-suite and for single occupancy (even though most are double rooms).
Free parking is available and cars can be left in the car park for the duration of the meeting.
The poster session and the evening Christmas dinner, plus bar, will be held at Accenture.
Note that the registration fee for the meeting will include the cost of accommodation
on the Thursday night.
