Most of our research focuses upon tropical regions so when we get out of the laboratory we tend to have intense periods of field activity.

Field visits include:

• Setting modern pollen traps within evergreen and semi-evergreen forest (Ghana 2011)
• Collection of lake cores in the Andes (Ecuador 2008 & Bolivia 2007)
• Sampling of sedimentary sections (Ecuador 2008)
