We have now recruited students for four doctoral projects:

  • An isotopic and palynological approach to reconstructing South African palaeoenvironments over the past three million years
  • Utilising stable and radiogenic Sr isotopes to unravel palaeohydrologic changes in the Altiplano
  • The origins of subtropical forest biodiversity and its link to global palaeoclimate change during the Miocene
  • Environmental change in the Early Jurassic - A North African perspective
