The Life Sciences Department at the Open University is involved in numerous outreach activities. These include access to permanently available websites that encourage UK-wide activities such as the Evolution MegaLab and local nature trails such as one based on ‘Redway’ cycle tracks around Milton Keynes (the Redway Nature Trail).

Living with a Long Term Condition [suitable for adults only i.e. 16+ - needs disclaimer]. Examples of Science courses on Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases, Obesity and Cancer. Course pamphlets available. Lots of DVD activities e.g. measuring your BMI, Blood Pressure, OpenMark questions, Websites, Course stand, TV program and Videos.
