We are delighted to announce that the Open University won three prizes at the Midlands Hub regional competition in Coventry Art Gallery yesterday, two runners up and one researcher peer prize. The winners are:
Runner up - Leanne Gunn for her poster - The Duration of Icelandic Volcanic Eruptions
Runner up & Research peer - Anthony Davenport - Enhancing the Gap of Bilayer Graphene
Altogether there were 77 participants, 4 runners up, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, two Researcher Peer and 1 Poster Summary prize.
Other universities who won prizes were Warwick, Leicester, Keele and University of Nottingham.
