Foundation degrees with employers

What is a foundation degree?

A foundation degree is a short, work-related degree that prepares you for a specific type of work. It is less demanding than an Open degree or an honours degree.

Because foundation degrees are work-related, you must be working or volunteering in a work setting that is related to the qualification you are interested in. Most OU foundation degrees are also offered as Diplomas of Higher Education (DipHE) in Scotland. The qualifications have the same content and the same requirements; only the name is different.
