Science short courses

The Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics offers a series of short courses covering interesting contemporary topics in science.

The courses introduce topics such as astronomy, plants, human genetics, nuclear energy, volcanoes, nutrition and the frozen planet.

There are two different types of courses and some courses are available in both versions:

Short modules for credit are assessed and are standalone courses that are assessed and carry university credit. These modules have to be studied over a fixed time.

Science: online short courses are more flexible but carry no formal university credit and can not be counted towards a qualification.
