You may not think that ‘Impact’ is relevant to you, but if you are a researcher at any level, then it is something you should, and will, need to think about in the future.
We encourage all researchers (postgraduate level upwards) and associated staff to attend this workshop, which will be run by the Research and Impact Knowledge Exchange Team alongside the SPS Outreach and Public Engagement Team. The workshop will focus on providing practical tools to help researchers develop their skills in preparing research grant bids, and understand how to recognise, capture and communicate non-academic impact. It will also focus specifically on the assistance on offer in terms of preparing for submissions to the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF).
