It consists of a day of workshops, demonstrations and debates linked to the chemistry of space. This is a collaborative effort between PSSRI and the Chemistry Department at the Open University to promote the application of traditional sciences to emerging disciplines. It is focused towards those students studying GCSE Science, in which space science is now a component.
The Space Safari is a collaboration between PSSRI and Stockton City Learning Centre (SCLC) as part of the
STFC-funded Rocks From Space project. The event ran from Feb 26
th to March 30
th 2007 and consisted of virtual learning activities, live links to experts and collaborative events between schools. For more information see
