CGI Group

The CGI contribution was inherited from LogicaCMG UK.

Logica was an IT company based in Reading. Its first involvement with the Rosetta mission was in pathfinder studies designed to investigate the autonomous operation of the spacecraft, specifically problems involved in a long mission with extended and frequent periods of inactivity. Logica reported back on the system requirements and the necessary designs that would be required. They were subsequently involved in producing the onboard Rosetta software as part of the avionics team.

In 2012, Logica was acquired by the Canadian CGI Group.
