SCORE Fellowships

A central part of SCORE is its two fellowship schemes, the Short Term Fellowship Residential Course and the SCORE Teaching Fellowships. We expect to fund 36 fellowship projects between 2010 and 2012. Fellows work is expected to inform, influence and impact on OER policy and practice across the higher education sector. Projects may be ‘stand-alone’ or involve collaborations with other fellowship projects to address important themes in OER activity.

SCORE Teaching Fellowship Call for Applications

Funded SCORE Teaching Fellowships are no longer available. Details of non funded fellowships will be available shortly.

A central part of SCORE is its fellowship scheme.  Fellowship work is expected to inform, influence and impact on OER policy and practice across the higher education sector.  Projects may be 'stand-alone' or involve collaborations with other fellowship projects to address important themes in OER activity.

Projects for teaching fellowships are related to open educational resources (OER) in the following themed areas:

  • Sustainability and impact
  • E-Assessment
  • Curriculum and Learning design
  • Quality assessment and evaluation
  • Digital scholarship
  • Postgraduate research training
  • Teaching and learning for mathematics
  • Graphical resources

Based flexibly at the OU in Milton Keynes, fellows draw on the OU’s expertise in creating, sharing and using OER. They receive support from the SCORE team, mentors and the OU’s OER fellowship community, which includes Open Learning Network (OLnet international fellows).
