An Open University in Scotland and Holyrood Communications webinar exploring how Scotland can rebuild its economy in an inclusive manner post-pandemic.

The Scottish Government’s approach to recovery seeks to address a range of economic, social, and environmental challenges. It has committed to delivering a green recovery and is implementing a Young Person's Guarantee, but there is still more to do.

Business, the third sector, local communities and the higher education sector all have a vital part to play as we work together for an inclusive recovery.

This webinar will be an opportunity to share your views and to consider what further action is required, to ensure that the skills needs of all workers, families and communities are met, so that no one is left behind. It will explore what an inclusive economic recovery might look like in reality and how we can utilise the expertise of a wide range of stakeholders.

Leading panellists will include:

  • Sandy Begbie, Chief Executive Officer at Scottish Financial Enterprise
  • Kezia Dugdale, Director of the John Smith Centre for Public Service
  • Anna Fowlie, Chief Executive, Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations
  • Susan Stewart, Director of The Open University in Scotland
