James Honeyborne: The Making of Blue Planet II - Glasgow

The Open University in Scotland is delighted to be supporting this public Blue Planet II event hosted by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS). 

Blue Planet II is a landmark piece of film-making with an equally significant legacy. Since its first broadcast, a tsunami of interest has developed concerning ocean sustainability, particularly in terms of marine plastics and climate change.

James HoneyborneJames Honeyborne, the award-winning Executive Producer based at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, was at the helm of this ground-breaking BBC/Open University co-produced series.  Come along as we dive deeper into this intriguing world. 

Blue Planet II is a BBC/OU co-production and OU academics were consultants for the series. 2019 is the year the OU celebrates its 50th anniversary.
