Open Learning Champions networking event
Cumbrae House, 15 Carlton Court, Glasgow, G5 9JP
Tuesday 21 February 2017, 09:30-14:00
The Open University in Scotland is holding the first event for our Open Learning Champions to network with others, learn from each other's practice and share how they are using OU resources in different contexts.
We work with a range of organisations to create accessible learning pathways for people who may not otherwise consider themselves ‘learners’.
Since June 2015, we have run a series of workshops for Open Learning Champions, introducing them to The OU’s free online learning resources and exploring how they can use them to support the people they work with.
We now have a network of more than 120 champions around the country, from 50 different organisations including third sector, community, libraries, colleges and others.
This event is aimed at our champions who have taken part in a workshop on The OU’s free online learning resources.
There will be space for information stands and poster displays. Please let us know if you would be interested in sharing your work on the day.
