To celebrate International Women's Day 2020, Fife Cultural Trust (ONFife) are holding a day of talks, workshops, information stalls, including the OU's Jennie Lee exhibition, and a talk by Louise Davison from the OU in Scotland. 

The exhibition 'Jennie Lee: From Lochgelly to the House of Lords' will be on display. In this exhibition materials from the OU's Jennie Lee Archive Collection tell the fascinating story of the life of the Scottish founder of the OU, from her childhood in Lochgelly to her final years in the House of Lords. Also Louise Davison from the OU in Scotland will give a talk about Jennie Lee.

The keynote speaker is Ibtisam Alfarah, talking about women’s empowerment in relation to community development. Cara Forrester from Queendom of Fife online magazine will be hosting the 'In Conversation with…' session and the afternoon question and answer panel session.

Robyn McCafferty, who has been chosen for Scotland’s Under 19’s European Championship Football Squad, will share what life has been like for her in the world of sport.

There will also be a selection of workshops to join, including mindfulness, book sculpture, confidence building.
