Bloody Scotland 2018 tickets on offer for free! [now closed]

You can apply for free tickets to events at Bloody Scotland 2018, Scotland’s international crime writing festival. [Offer now closed] 

The Open University is delighted to be supporting the Crime In The Spotlight series at Bloody Scotland, taking place at The Albert Halls in Stirling, from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 September 2018. 

Crime In The Spotlight gives 13 budding authors the chance to share the stage with well-known authors, by reading a snippet of their work before the main author’s event. 
 

Complimentary tickets are available for four events in the series, on a first-come, first-served basis: 
 
These tickets are normally valued at £10 or £9 concession.

Friday 21 September, 20:00 - 21:00 
 
Saturday 22 September, 15:45 - 16:45   
 
Mysti Berry followed by MC Beaton with Ashley Jensen
Saturday 22 September, 19:00-20:00
 
Andy Muir followed by Irvine Welsh 
Sunday 23 September, 17:30 – 18:30   
 

How to apply for tickets: 
Apply by 12 noon on Tuesday 18 September 2018. 
 
1) Follow @OUScotland on Twitter and retweet one of our posts about this offer, and/or or follow @OpenUniversityinScotland on Facebook and share one of our Facebook messages about this offer.  
 
2) Email Scotland-Events@open.ac.uk with your full name, email address, the event for which you would like tickets and how many tickets (maximum 2 per entrant). 
 

The terms and conditions:
Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a small, limited quantity of complimentary tickets available for each event. 
The offer is open from 12.00 noon on Thursday 13 September to 12.00 noon on Tuesday 18 September. Entries received after 12.00 noon on Tuesday 18 September 2018 will not be counted. 
You can apply for tickets for only one event, for a maximum of two tickets per entrant. 
• It is important that entrants can and will attend the event for which they have applied. Tickets are non-transferable. Prizes are as stated and there is no alternative. 
The offer is open to persons aged 16 and over who live in Scotland.
• OU students are eligible to apply for this offer. OU Staff are not eligible for this offer, with the exception of Associate Lecturers.   
We will reply to entrants’ emails by 5pm on Thursday 20 September, to confirm whether they have been successful or not and if so, how to collect the tickets.    
Entrants provide their names and email addresses to be informed if they have been successful and if so, how to collect tickets. This information will be held and used for that purpose only and in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policy. The OU has a Privacy Notice
Entrants shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
