Demo: Create an organisation chart

Demo transcript

  1. Select Insert > Picture > Organization Chart.
  2. A new organisation chart and the Organisation Chart toolbar will open.
  3. Click within a node and type the label e.g. Animals.
  4. Label the others nodes as described in step 3. e.g. Mammals, Birds.

To add a child node

  1. Select the parent node e.g. Mammals.
  2. From the Organisation Chart toolbar select Insert Shape > Subordinate from the drop down list.
  3. A new node is created; label this node as described in step 3 e.g. Rodents.
  4. Add and label any additional nodes until your chart is complete e.g. Primates, Mouse, Wren.
