Demo: Set text to be bold and italic

Video transcript

  1. Highlight the text to be made bold.
  2. Select Format > Font.
  3. The Font dialog window opens, in the Font style field select Bold.
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. Highlight the text to be italicised.
  6. Select Format > Font.
  7. The Font dialog window opens, in the Font style field select Italic.
  8. Click the OK button.

Alternatively you can use the Bold and Italic buttons in the toolbar

  1. Highlight the text to be made bold.
  2. Click the Bold button in the toolbar.
  3. Highlight the text to be italicised.
  4. Click the Italic button in the toolbar.
