Demo: Using drawing tools (AutoShapes)

Select Insert > Picture > AutoShapes.
The AutoShapes toolbar opens.
From the AutoShapes toolbar select Basic Shapes menu button.
Select the shape you wish to add e.g. Oval.
The Drawing Canvas window opens.
Insert the cursor within the drawing canvas hold down the left mouse button and drag out the shape until you are happy with it.
You can add a label to your shape by right-clicking and selecting Add Text.
The Text Box window opens.
Type in your label e.g. A circle.
You can change the font type, size and style by highlighting the label and then right-clicking.
Select Font from the pop up list.
The Font dialog window opens.
Select your required settings e.g. Bold.
To add another shape to your diagram repeat steps 3 – 6.
To label this new shape repeat steps 7 – 13.
