Demo: Using word count

- Highlight the text to be counted. If you want to count words in the whole file, select Edit > Select All.
- Select Tools > Word Count and the Word Count dialog window opens.
- Note the number of words and click on the Close button.
Alternatively you can use the Recount button in the Word Count toolbar.
- Select View > Toolbars.
- Select Word Count and the Word Count toolbar appears.
- Highlight the text to be counted. If you want to count words in the whole file, select Edit > Select All.
- Click on the Recount button in the toolbar and the number of words is displayed.
