For those of you who already have some experience of interpreting numerical data and who understand basic statistics, but who are not confident in their ability to produce charts, graphs and tables.
This toolkit develops your skills in presenting numerical data, and includes tables, line graphs, bar charts, histograms, pie charts, and simple descriptive statistics. It provides a step-by-step guide for each form of presentation, and describes when it is appropriate to use them.
Note that there is a separate toolkit, Working with charts, graphs and tables, for students who have difficulty in interpreting numerical information.
If you want to download the whole More charts, graphs and tables toolkit (PDF, 300KB) as one file, please note that it is 43 pages long, and the file size is 300KB or you can contact your regional centre for a printed version.
Alternatively, choose the sections you want to download separately as a pdf file, for viewing and printing only.
