Networking for research-practice synergies

An aim of this conference is to facilitate the foundation of a research practice network that can develop further in the future.

After June, this conference website will remain live and summarise the results of discussions at the conference for those who were present, as well as for those who could not attend. Throughout the next year we will also make available findings from the analysis of conference proceedings and further research informed by it.
The future aim is to use the conference web page for further knowledge generation and networking to promote interagency practice and meaningful local, national and international collaborations to improve child witness practice.

Aims

  • A networking/information resource for researchers and practitioners;
  • Facilitate and promote 'scientific literacy' in practitioners;
  • Foster a productive and informed critical approach from practitioners towards research;
  • Forge closer reciprocal relationships of accountability, transparency and exchange between research and practice.

Building a Research-Practice Network

Our aim is to use the website for further knowledge generation and networking to promote interagency practice and meaningful local, national and international collaborations to improve child witness practice.
