Arrival and registration

Upon arrival, please head to the Registration desks in the foyer to collect your tickets, drinks vouchers, presentation card and souvenir programmes. You will also be given an information sheet with a map of the venue to help you find your way around. A preview of this is available to view here.

If you have any questions during the ceremony day, the staff at the Registration and Enquiry desks will be pleased to help you.

Academic Dress

If you have chosen to wear academic dress for your ceremony, you can collect it from the Red Dot Bar once you have registered. Collection will be open from 12:30 and all hired items should be returned by 17:30.

Photography

The photography studios are located in the Players' Suite, which can be accessed through the rear of the Red Dot Bar. The studios will be open from 12:30. The service will also be available for a short time after the ceremony. Please be advised that there may be queues, so allow yourself plenty of time.

A photograph will also be taken of you when you cross the stage. This award photograph will be available to purchase after the ceremony and online at www.edeandravenscroft.com

The ceremony

The doors to the Ballroom will open at 13:45 and the musical programme will start at 14:30. You and your guests should be seated at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. Your ceremony is expected to last approximately 60 minutes.

Post ceremony drinks

After the ceremony, you and your guests are invited to join the academic procession for a celebratory glass of sparkling wine or soft drink in the North or South Bar, as indicated on your drinks vouchers.

Refreshments

Limited refreshments will be available for purchase at the venue.

You can buy light refreshments in the Red Dot Bar 08:00-10:00 and 12:30-14:30, and in the Pre-Function Area 09:15-10:15 and 13:45-14:45. The Pitchside Bar on the second floor will also be open from 09:00 for drinks There are also numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk of the DoubleTree.
