The following video demonstrations are provided to help with common IT issues that we know students can encounter during their studies (please note, there is NO sound on these demonstrations). To help us improve this service we would welcome your feedback. After you have watched a demonstration please let us know whether it was helpful and provide us with your comments using the ‘Comments & Feedback’ link below.
The demonstrations have been created on a computer running Windows 7. If you are using a computer with Windows Vista the interface is very similar and you should be able to follow the directions without any compatibility issues. For Windows XP users there are some minor differences that you should be aware of:
1. The Windows Start Menu is accessed through a round Microsoft icon in Windows 7 rather than the ‘Start’ button found in Windows XP.
2. The ‘My Documents’ folder found in Window XP is now just called ‘Documents’ in Windows 7.
Should you require further Help or Advice the please do not hesitate to contact us.
Disclaimer: Please also note that we do not support 3rd Party software such as Microsoft Word, however, we will advise as best we can but for in depth information you will either have to consult the product Help files or seek advice from the product developer.
