Thames Valley Police are offering staff the opportunity to get their bikes security marked for £4.50.
If you would like to get your bike(s)security marked go to the Thames Vallley Police website and find your local police station who will be able to arrange a convenient time with you to security mark your bike (it takes about 5 mins).
For region and nation colleagues if you contact your local police station they will be able to tell you how you can get this done.
Prices might vary from station to station.
The OU has signed up to 'The Cycle to Work Guarantee’ The scheme is being promoted to offer employees a healthy and green option to commute to and from work.
We welcome the Cycle to Work Guarantee initiative and have already shown commitment to many of its incentives in order to encourage cycling as much as possible.

The University provides cycle parking across campus. We have a mix of bike racks and larger bicycle parking compounds close to building entrances. The secure cycle facilities can be accessed using your OU swipe card. There are also showers and changing facilities available. Further information on theses facilities can be found on the Bike Shelters and Showers Map.
The shelter provides 22 addtional spaces.
Bike stands have been installed to the right of the Library
The South Side of Building 12 has a secure cycle store that can take 12 cycles.
Manchester has an additional cycle shelter that exactly matches the original shelter and is fully secure with a capacity for 8 cycles.
Cardiff has secure storage for 2 bikes
The University is directly linked to Milton Keynes Redway system and National Cycle. Route No 51 goes to the University's East Gate. For details of cycle routes to the University see the Document Store below:
